A LOADED CONTAINER

It is not easy to achieve a container load that looks quite as uniform as this one, but the Brytor operations staff know how to utilize space in the most efficient ways possible. After all, our team leaders have been with Brytor for decades… and only do overseas moving-every day of the week.  With pricing based primarily on volume, you want a crew that loads your shipment  tightly and safely in order to minimize your costs and avoid any damage.

Brytor’s Annual Managers Meeting

Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013

Brytor just completed another successful annual Manager’s Meeting, held every spring at our headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario.

Bringing the key people from all of our branches together to analyze the last year’s performance, brainstorm, reconnect and plan for the year ahead has become an invaluable tradition that strengthens our commitment to our brand and our dedication to quality service.

This year, one of our focal points was Brytor’s social media presence, something that often gets set aside in the fray of doing our day to day business where service, our key commodity, is obviously the  primary point of our existence.

Certainly though, Brytor’s managers are aware that without sharing our knowledge and experience within the social arena we could get lost in the Facebook, Linkedin, Youtube, Website world that we all live in.  That said, we have come out of our meeting determined to make Brytor’s  presence more visible,  bring interesting and pertinent articles to the fore.  We hope to inform, entertain, educate and assist our clients, fellow agents and friends by whatever means at our disposal.  We hope that you will like, comment, and share.  By strengthening our  social media networking, we especially hope that Brytor offers our audience an insight into our world of international moving.

Our VP of Operations takes on the Becel Ride for Heart

Thursday, April 18th, 2013

Jay and his bikeThis June, Jay Ryan, Vice President of Operations and partner at Brytor International Moving in Toronto, is cranking up his passion for cycling a notch by taking on the Becel Ride for Heart in Toronto. The event is in its 26th year and this will be Jay’s second time participating. Ironically his first ride was the inaugural event 26 years ago, as a teenager, when he accompanied his two uncles to the finish line.

His goal this year is to raise at least $2,000 that will go to help support life-giving research, social change programs and health information initiatives, and life-extending advancements in heart disease and stroke. Jay has already surpassed the $1,000 mark, with help from Brytor who has agreed to match every dollar he raises.

His motivation for the Becel Ride for Heart comes from his awareness of heart disease and its effects on his own family members; his grandmother who died of heart disease and his father-in-law who has suffered a heart attack.

Jay has chosen to ride the longest route on the ride, at 75 kilometers and his goal is to finish in under two hours, which would be a personal best, he says.  Jay says he normally can ride at 35 kilometers per hour when pushing himself.  He hopes that those who can, will come out and cheer him on, and those that cannot, might consider a small, on line donation to the cause!
